What Can The Dorn Method Treat?
The Dorn Method is used to correct misalignments in the spinal column and other
joints, helping treat many common structural problems such as:
- Back Pain
- Neck Pain
- Headaches & Migraines
- Joint problems such as Hip, Knee, Shoulder, Elbow, Ankle and Jaw
- Leg length difference
- Sciatica
Can Dorn treat more than joints?
The human body is a very complex and interconnected place. Whilst not fully proven, Dorn theory along with some other treatments
and the older healing arts from the far east suggest that imbalances within the spine may have effects which show up as health problems
in other parts of the body.
The reasoning is that any displacement of vertebrae in the spinal column
may cause irritation to the nervous system (running down and coming out of the spine) which is connected to
the various organs and parts of the body.
In fact there was a study carried out in 1921 by Dr. Henry Winson in Haverford, Pennsylvania who found there was a nearly 100 percent
correlation between certain imbalances of the spine and disease of internal organs. His results seemed to confirm that 80% of chronic diseases
are linked to the spine.
The vertebrae called TH4, in the upper part of the back is said for example to be
associated to Gallbladder problems, Gall stones, Jaundice and some types of headache,
whilst TH6 is said to be related to stomach and digestive problems, heartburn and
diabetes.
In light of the above thinking and evidence from Dr. Winson's research, and the fact that Dorn treatment seeks to realign the spinal vertebrae,
it seems that The Dorn Method could potentially have a positive effect on many parts of the body.
Therefore if you are experiencing health problems such as a bladder infection,
headaches or skin problems, then it could be worth investigating whether The Dorn Method could help. Always remember however to seek the advice of your Doctor
or health professional.
